Rock Out, Elf Style!

So today, I discovered a new addiction. Elf Yourself. I've know about it for whoever knows how long. But today I decided to try it out. If you'll notice on my side bar, you'll see one of my few elf videos. They are so fun to do and hilarious to watch. I encourage anybody who loves to do youtube videos. You can elf anybody you have a picture on your computer. So I hope to see a few elf vids on more accounts!!

ADDICTED!

So I have a connfesion. I'm addicted. To Facebook that is. After I got an account I was always on it. I'de never do anything else. I even got a Facebook badge! How lame is that! But I don't care how addicted I am, I am not quitting. It is way to fun! This shows you how hard addicitions can be to break. Ohh well. I guess some of us will never learn!

Grateful for what?

Have you ever noticed how when you ask someone what they are grateful for they usally say everything? So are they grateful for job loss and  villans? Are they grateful for lower pay checks? Are they really grateful for everything? So tonight when you say your prayers, pray for all the good things in life. Be specific.

No School

So since I live in the state were potatoes are our prize, everyone at church gets Spud Harvest except, you guessed it, me. I am in a different district than them so while they get two weeks off for the spuds, I get two days off for teacher work day.Idaho is soo confusing!

Remembering a Great Man

On Monday, September 14, 2009, a great man passed away. My great, great uncle Darel passed away. Today, I went to his funeral. When I saw him in the cascet, I swear I saw him breathing. I remeber all the stories he told me and all the funny little things about him. The only way to describe him is a funny, fun-loving, old man.

Over the past couple of years, I've memorized a few sayings about losing a loved one.

"The special ones we hold in our heart for a little while, stay in our hearts forever."-Unknown.

"We have not yet forgotten the special people in our hearts. Our heart has not forgotten our tender memories and moments. For you are too special to forget."- Unknown.

"Our love was a bond too strong to break. That bond will never seper. Even now that we are seperated."- Unknown
- Unknown

I will not forget you, Uncle Darel.

Lights! Camaras! Movies!

I've seen a few pretty good movies lately and i wanted to blog about what I thought.

  • The 1st movie is"MONSTERS VS. ALIENS."It was a little biazzare. If you have a son, grandson, nephew or brother the age 2-7 this is the movie for you! I give it 2 and a half stars.
  • The 2nd movie is "Up." it had a slow beginning and was a little out there but was a cute story for the most part! I give it 4 stars.
  • The 3rd movie is "Night at the Museum 2 Battle of the Smithsonium." HILARIOUS! Anyone would like this comedy. I mean Jonas Brothers, Amy Adams,Baby Cupids! Who wouldn't love it! I give it 5 stars!!
  • The 4th movie is"Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince." I fell asleep in the middle of the movie. It's not because it was boring but because it was a drive in and I was exhausted. The parts I saw get 4 stars.
  • The 5th movie is"Knowing." It was a little creepy and hard to follow. I wouldn't recemend it for little kids.It was kinda sad. I give it 3 and a half stars.

Well those are the movies I seen. The movies I want to see are "New Moon," "Planet 51," "Pink Panther 2," "Remember me,"and "The Runaways."

Don't Wig Out!

On Monday, while we were getting ready to go on a road trip, my great Great Grandma Helen walked in the room. "Do you like my hair-do?" It took me a second to think it through before I started laughing. It was a wig!! We all laughed and told her her wig looked good. She denied the fact that it was a wig! "Don't you like it? It took hours to do! Your mother helped me." It was so hilarious! I love her so much! She is so funny!I wish that I could see her more often!

Georgetown

If you read my earier post, when I listed all the fun things I did with my Grandma(s). One of which was going to an old mining camp. We took lots of pictures, did lots exploxploring, then we went down to Georgetown Lake. Me and my Aunt Jenny (previously mentioned) took TONS of pictures that really turned out good. I hope that one day I can do that again.

On My Way To Montana

This summer I got the oppertunity to go and stay with my grandma! I was so excited! But I had no way to get there! A few days later, my grandma came into town out of the blue! She stayed with our family for a couple of days. Then, on the day we were about to leave, she got a call from one of her siblings saying my great grandma, wasn't doing so great. So we decided that we were gonna go see her before we headed home. We stayed there for a few days and let me tell ya we had I blast! We went shopping, saw a baby miniture horse, explored, and lots of other fun stuff! Then, we went back to Grandma's house. My Aunt Jenny is staying with us and so far we've had a GREAT time!
